What is different about Restylane® Refyne™ and Defyne™?
Like traditional Restylane®, Refyne™ and Defyne™ are hyaluronic acid (HA) based dermal fillers. Using this naturally occurring chemical, Refyne™ and Defyne™ work by restoring lost volume beneath the skin’s surface—helping to smooth the appearance of facial folds, lines, and wrinkles.
Refyne™ and Defyne™ are also crafted with Restylane®’s XpresHAn Technology™, which not only helps to smooth the appearance of laugh lines (nasolabial folds and marionette lines), but also works to maintain your face’s natural expressions. How long will the results last from a Restylane® Refyne™ or Defyne™ treatment?
Most patients continue to experience the benefits of their Restylane® Refyne™ for up to six to nine months. Defyne™ has been shown in clinical trials to provide results for up to a full year. Once you notice the laugh lines begin to make their way back when you stare in the mirror, you can schedule a touch-up treatment at one of our New York offices to maintain your youthful appearance.
