Fellowship Program

NLNL Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship Program for Doctors

New Look New Life Surgical Arts is currently accepting applications for an accredited American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) fellowship under Dr. Kim. The fellowship program will begin July 1st and continue for a full year. Those wishing to further their post-residency education in general cosmetic surgery and enhance their clinical skills are encouraged to apply.

Who is eligible for the cosmetic surgery fellowship?

Physicians who have completed formal residency in any of the following areas are invited to apply: General Surgery, Gynecologic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery (MD/DDS), Opthalmology Surgery, Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, Plastic Surgery, or equivalent ACGME-recognized residency training program. You are not required to be a member of AACS to participate.

What is the application process?

Submit the completed application form and all supporting materials directly to: New Look New Life Surgical Arts Residency Program, 551 5th Avenue #525, New York, NY 10176. Qualified applicants will be invited for an interview with Dr. Kim. There is no fee to apply.

What is the application deadline?
All fellowship program applications must be received by December 31.

Is it possible to extend my fellowship beyond one year?
If you are interested in extending your fellowship with Dr. Karlinsky-Bellini or Dr. Claudia Kim, you may discuss this with her during your interview.

Is there a stipend or tuition reimbursement associated with the fellowship?
Yes, details will be provided during the interview process.

What are the completion requirements for certification after the fellowship?
The following items must be submitted to AACS for certification of completion:

  • Fellowship director verification

  • Fellowship director and training fellow evaluations

  • Surgical log of required cases

  • Article submission to American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery
